Do you know where our name comes from?

“Solidago” might sound like a weird word to you, but to us (and other florists!), it’s a pretty familiar one!

Solidago is also known as “Goldenrod”, one of the first signs of fall that pops up all across Southeast Ohio. Its bright golden blooms are hard to miss and are a little reminder of just how beautiful each season can be. 💛🌿

Before your flowers become beautiful bouquets, we “process” each one to make sure they’re healthy, hydrated, and looking their best for your wedding day. That means trimming stems, removing leaves, and getting them into buckets of fresh water!

And trust us… there’s A LOT more to the process than what’s pictured here. Sometimes our flower room looks like a tornado came through! 😂🌪️

We had the best time creating the florals for the Waskys this weekend! The soft pink of the Cappuccino Beige roses paired with those warm, caramel-y Toffee Novelty roses was such a beautiful combination. Add in all the little details, and everything came together so perfectly for their day.

We’re so happy we got to be a small part of it. Congratulations, Waskys! 🤍💍
