Have you ever experienced two sunsets in one day? In Fairbanks, Alaska, and other communities just south of the Arctic Circle, there is one day each year when the sun sets twice in one day. Today is one of those days! In Fairbanks, the first sunset took place at 12:01 am this morning followed by a sunrise at 3:53 am. A second sunset will take place tonight at 11:58 pm. In turn, one day each year in late spring experiences no sunset.

Good news friends! We will be open tomorrow 11am to 6pm. 5 dollars a pound you pick, cash preferred please but can do venmo and cc. Toys in the sand box, swings, picnic tables so bring a lunch, something to drink, your own containers please. Bring a thermocell or bug repellent as they are thick!

The Roaming Root Cellar in Fairbanks is stocking freeze dried, frozen and fresh too if you cant make it down.

We will be harvesting with the harvester tomorrow too and they will be 9 a pound.
