Fabric Pull of the Week 🧵

This week we're starting with navy and adding coral, soft aqua, and cream.

Navy gives the palette depth.

Here's a useful fabric-shopping trick:

Step back.

A print that looks busy when you're holding it may read almost like a solid once you see it from several feet away.

That makes these fabrics incredibly useful in quilts. You still get texture and interest up close, while from a distance they can provide the visual rest of a solid.

Try the step-back test the next time you're building a fabric pull.

A quick shop update for this week!

Paisley Patch Quilts will be closed Wednesday, August 19, while Beth and Kami travel to Orem for a trunk show with the Utah Valley Quilt Guild.

The trunk show begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Orem Senior Friendship Center, and we would love to see some familiar faces there!

Please plan any in-store shopping for Tuesday or Thursday through Saturday this week.

Regular hours:

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 10 a.m.–5 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.–4 p.m.
