Did you know the "Dog Days of Summer" have absolutely nothing to do with panting pups????

It actually goes back to Ancient Greece! The ancients noticed the hottest days of the year lined up with the rising of Sirius—the "Dog Star"—in the Orion constellation.

While the Greeks blamed the star for the sweltering heat, we have a much better way to handle it at the New Albany Sugar Shoppe!
