Replying to Reck The good news? Most Anthuriums actually ship really well and are more resilient than you might think💪🌱

That being said, not every Anthurium is built the same. Some varieties, especially those with thin, delicate, velvety leaves, can be a little more finicky & may show stress from shipping.

But with proper packing, insulation & a little TLC after arrival, most Anthuriums make the journey just fine💚

The secret to a happy Burro’s Tail? Find it good light & then pretend it doesn’t exist 😅

Seriously though—these guys are BEAUTIFUL but ridiculously delicate. Give it bright light, let the soil dry out between waterings & then STOP TOUCHING IT. Every leaf you bump is a leaf you will probably lose😭

Some plants are beautiful, healthy & perfectly happy… until you put them in a box 😂📦🌱

There are certain varieties I simply won’t ship because they’re too delicate, shed leaves easily, break during transit, or just don’t handle the journey well.

Burro’s tail is a perfect example. Those little leaves LOVE to fall off at the slightest inconvenience😭

As a plant seller, sometimes the best thing I can do for the plant (and for you!) is say, “Nope. This one is local pickup only.” 💚

Because getting a plant to you healthy is more important than making the sale.

I genuinely think one of the biggest mistakes you can make as a plant parent is not knowing what kind of plant parent you are🌱

Are you the type who checks the soil 14 times a day & waters because your plant “looks thirsty”

OR…

are you the type who suddenly remembers you own plants when you see one looking personally offende😂

Know your tendencies. Then build your plant-care routine around them🌿
