Over thirty five years in the making. Army Ant was supposed to launch in 1990 alongside the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Mega Mutants line, but never made it past prototype. Now, Treasure Monster Toys has acquired the original sculpt and production rights to David Arshawsky's legendary creation, and after a successful Kickstarter in early twenty twenty five, Army Ant is finally coming to the United States this fall. This is the first look at the factory painted sample — straight from production with that buttery factory finish. The camo pattern turned out even better than I hoped.

This variant was made exclusively for our Kickstarter backers and will not be available at retail. I’ll have a very small number of extras when the shipment arrives in August/September that I may use for giveaway & raffle promos.
