In New Bedford, at 0945 hours on the 11th of September, please take a moment at any of the New Bedford Fire Department stations to pay tribute to the lives lost 25 years ago in New York City, Alexandria Virginia and Shanksville Pennsylvania! Let us never forget those lost!!!

The New Bedford Fire Department invites members of our community to join us on September 11 as we pause to remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

At 9:45 a.m., members of the New Bedford Fire Department will assemble outside each of our fire stations in remembrance of the nearly 3,000 lives lost that day, including the 343 members of the FDNY who made the ultimate sacrifice.

We welcome the public to stand alongside our firefighters at any New Bedford fire station as we honor the victims, their families, and the first responders whose courage and sacrifice will never be forgotten.
