Filling out the last of my obligations for the summer. A few markets lined up. And, then this birdie is a free one 😎

Support small. Support local. Support your friends!

Its never too early to think about gift giving. Thoughtful presents are more well received than just getting someone "stuff" ... even if what you're getting is still, well... stuff. Lol!

I personally enjoy putting around a market and observing everyone's creations πŸ™ƒπŸ™ƒ if I find something that instantly makes me think of my gift circle, I bring it home. And let the bag building for Christmas begin.

Last year, it was really so fun going through all my finds and wrapping everything up for everyone. Art from Lana Quann, pottery from New Bedford Pottery , there was items I had crafted myself, and the ever loved gift card 🫢

Lana's hummingbirds still live in my head, and probably will forever and ever! Stephanie's pottery just really makes my heart happy. ❀️

The gifts purchased, were and are loved.

Shop small. It truly does circle closer in your backyard than you realize 🫢🫢🫢

I sat down last night and drew up a plan for how my saturday was going to look.

And, I must say. This pausing journey and discovering what I enjoy .....is fun..

Ive been so wrapped up in business s**t for so long that I forgot to live for like, today. 🫣🫣 planning months ahead, its eating at me..

Today; we are going to the craft market, hitting up a local coffee shop, completing a few errands, and then popping off to Plymouth 😎 for a seaglass art class.

Slowing down is making me actually want to create.
I want to make something. And lots of somethings πŸ™ƒ
I am brewing ideas of how im going to be refreshed for yall! 🫢 thanks for coming on this wavy adventure

The first time i ever poured a wave .... it looked like s**t.

Complete and total s**t. My friends and I would make some really .... interesting jokes on the outcome of our projects lol!

Then, I went down this rabbit hole of epoxy resin. Different brands, different viscosity, different errrthangggggg.... it was a fun ride. Costly for sure, but fun!

I landed on my tried and true products that started giving me the results that I was really aiming for. Over and over again, pour after pour. Each piece providing more umph than the last one..more depth..more cells..more waves.

Water is healing. Its why im consistenly drawn back to the pull of a wave. Not a "craft class wave" (no offense). But, an artistry wave. Representing the vivid currents, tides, layers upon layers of ocean. That wild unknown depth screaming to come home. Come to the sea, its where you have always meant to be. πŸ§œβ€β™€οΈ

This panel, again donated, has been transforming into an oasis to just stare at. The ragey shoreline, deep blues of the unknown.

Where does your mind go when you stare into the deep blue Sea πŸŒŠπŸ’™

Mine... exactly where it needs to.

This season just feels different.
The weight of things feels ... extra.
The burnout feels ... extra, and like its not going to come to an end.

If there was ever a time to hunker down, now is it.
Join the journey of an uncharted map, while we get super raw. And super real.

Being an artist isnt easy. Being a creator isnt easy. And, this is the perfect example of what happens....your creative juice sometimes just depletes. No warning signs, no flashing lights. The engine light just pops on and the both the body and the mind encounter a full stop.

Its sitting in a veil of not wanting to live but not wanting to d!e. The dark. It can get realllllly dark. I forget where the light is at times. I spend a lot of time being a beacon. A lighthouse. A candle. A fire.

That when my light doesnt shine. Its really dark.

The frustrations that come with being stuck in your own s**t. Creates this vicious cycle. Its one ive begun to really open my eyes to, one I would like to work on preventing in the future. The cycle of peddling and feeling like you havent even moved an inch. And the internal processing of .... why do I feel like i cant get my s**t together.

Because this time..... my mind said no long before my body caught up. And once my body decided, we cant do this like we were .... we completely shut down.

If youre ready for the journey of finding yourself through creative ways. Well, today is Journaling. And, ill try to be back tomorrow.... put your thoughts on paper and see where the pen drifts off to. Let that be enough. Because, today, for me, its absolutely the f**k enough.

Cheers to unchartered waters. While we completely dismantle this ship and let it fully destruct.... to build a better ship that aligns with whats in my heart and soul as I find it. β™₯️
