CMS Fishing Tackle Our company has been building fine custom rods for over 38 years. All rods are built on location, with no middlemen involved.

Charlie Ponte, the creator and founder of CMS Fishing Tackle, started building custom rods for commercial and charter fishermen in 1972. Through the years, he has designed numorous specialty custom rods for all different types of sport fishing. Today, he has complied an excellent staff of employees who are knowledgable and experienced, not only in construction of custom rods, but in whatever type of fishing it applies to.
