A lot has happened since I’ve last been on this page. I started a new job, turned 25, traveled, made lots of memories, and learned a few lessons. As I soak up the last few weeks of summer, I wanted to just pop in here to say hi & check in💭
I opened SOPH after a very transformative time in my life. SOPH means everything to me, but taking a break has given my body and mind the reset it needed, the space to process things I never did, and more confidence in making decisions — especially big ones like the one I made with SOPH.
There hasn’t been a day that’s gone by where I haven’t thought about SOPH, and I really want to bring the SOPH community back somehow, someway. But I want to do it in a way full of confidence and alignment - which is why it’s taking time. I miss you all so much😭
Working corporate retail while simultaneously owning a small retail business really opened my eyes to consumerism and materialism. Now I love nice things just as much as the next girl, but I would much rather spend my money on experiences. Yes, SOPH was a size extended boutique but at the end of the day it was about making people feel welcomed, included, and confident. SOPH truly & undoubtedly shined with events and bringing people together. So whatever SOPH becomes next, know that just as much love & thought will be there.
