For Lydia Kiker, a love of making jewelry turned into Beyond the Galaxy Creations.

She started selling her creations at just 9 years old. Today, she's balancing school with custom orders, vendor events, crochet, jewelry and a year-round booth.

And one of the biggest things she's learned along the way may be useful for adults too:
