My husband, a disabled veteran, has lived with chronic back and shoulder pain for years. We’ve tried what feels like everything, and very few things have made a noticeable difference. Then we discovered Evil Bone Water, and it quickly became a staple in our home. A little over a year ago, River City Refillery was just a dream. A dream that many people told us wasn’t needed, wasn’t feasible, and honestly, would never work. We were even laughed out of the bank for asking for a small business loan to “sell soap.”

If we had stopped every time someone told us no, we wouldn’t be here today. We wouldn’t have built this incredible community. We wouldn’t have made lifelong friends. We wouldn’t have had the opportunity to help families, businesses, cancer patients, children with chronic illnesses, and moms simply looking for the cleanest options for their homes and their children.

What we’ve accomplished together over the last year is nothing short of a miracle from God.

To every customer who has trusted us, supported us, shared about us with friends, attended an event, refilled a bottle, or simply cheered us on from afar, thank you. We do not take the responsibility of helping our community live cleaner, less toxic, healthier lives lightly, and we are incredibly grateful that you’ve chosen us to be part of that journey.

Saturday’s anniversary celebration was a beautiful reminder of why we started this business in the first place: people. The relationships, the conversations, the shared values, and the desire to create something better together.
