Bucks County Folk Music Shop, located 30 miles north of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is the oldest acoustic stringed instrument store in the United States with the same owner since we opened our doors in July, 1966. We are an independent retail store, as well as a full-service on-site repair shop, lesson center, and manufacturing facility. Karl Dieterichs opened Bucks County Folk Music Shop in 1966
