I Believe in Unicorns (2014)
Davina, an imaginative teen, finds solace from the demands of caring for her disabled mother in a vivid world of fantasy. But her carefully constructed escape begins to unravel when she falls for a rebellious skateboarder. Their exhilarating romance quickly descends into a darker reality, revealing harsh truths about love, freedom, and emotional survival. This coming-of-age tale, rich with poetic visuals and raw emotion, masterfully blurs the lines between dreams and despair.
