Twisted Board Challenge
Part 1: Sunday, March 14, 2027, 9 AM - 3 PM
Part 2: Sunday, March 28, 2027, 9 AM - 3 PM
In this challenge, exclusively at Woodcraft Delaware, we have lots of dimensioned lumber that twisted. We want you to come pick 2 boards and make a project. (it's free) You can use ANY fastener you want. The only wood that can be used is from the boards you pick from the twisted pile. These projects are due March 14th, 2027. Judged on March 28th, 2027.

Learning On Demand Classes: Start with you! Are you wanting to learn how to use a particular tool? Then stop by or call the store at (302) 323-0400 to arrange a Learning on Demand session. These sessions, typically 2-3 hours, will provide intensive instruction from one of our knowledgeable instructors. The cost of the class will be discussed at the time of the call.

Introduce Your Child to the World of Woodworking! For Middle school kids and up. Give your child the opportunity to discover the creativity and excitement of woodworking in this fun, hands-on class! Students will learn how to build their very own bird feeder while gaining valuable skills and confidence along the way. With guidance through each step of the project, students will learn basic woodworking techniques, shop safety, and proper tool handling. Designed especially for beginners, this class provides a safe, supportive, and enjoyable introduction to the world of woodworking. Let’s build, create, and learn together - one project at a time!

The jointer is one of those “heaven or headache” tools. When it’s working properly, it makes quick, sweet work of straightening and flattening boards. However, a poorly tuned jointer can cause no end of frustration, yielding crooked edges, weirdly tapered pieces, and washboard surfaces.
