Love & Stitches is a specialty yarn store bringing in beautiful yarn not found in the big box stores. We provide fibers that range from super soft alpaca to quality acrylics for your knit and crochet needs. We also have knit and crochet classes for beginners and experienced crafters. We want to be your go to yarn store! Meet the Instructors
Lauren - Owner of Love & Stitches. A Craft Yarn Council Certified Crochet Instructor and also well versed in knitting. Lauren has been crocheting since she was a young girl. She then moved to crochet designing while in college. Currently she has a pattern with Red Heart Yarns, Hi-Top Slipper Socks and several other self-published patterns on Ravelry. Regina - Mom of the owner of Love & Stitches. Self-proclaimed Tunisian Crochet Queen. Regina has been crocheting most of her life. Recently she has won 2 first place awards in the New York State Fair for her knitting and tunisian crochet work!

Join OCPA and our sponsor Love and Stitches for our pilot series Fibers and Films. Hopping on the cultural trend of knit-in-at-the-movies, we are bringing the Utica area 4 free movies to watch while doing fiber arts. If you like to knit, crochet, sew, embroider, or any other fiber arts, this is the movie experience for you. Our first movie we will be showing is The Sheep Detectives on September 16th at 6pm in MacFarlane Aud on Utica University campus. More info will come about the other 3 movies soon.
