IMPORTANT UPDATE FOR THIS YEAR’S HUGE BARN SALE

This year’s Huge Barn Sale at Mary’s Gift Shop will have a slightly different feel, and we appreciate your understanding. Due to a series of significant family events, including the joyous occasion of Mary’s youngest daughter’s wedding the week before the sale, Mary will be away and only returning the day before the event.

While we guarantee that the shop and all the barns will be open as usual, some of the extra special touches we usually offer may not be possible this time around. We hope you will still join us for what promises to be a wonderful sale and a great opportunity to find unique gifts and treasures. Your support and understanding during this busy family time mean the world to us.

As a reminder, this afternoon/evening (Friday March 8th) is the benefit bake sale and BBQ for Mary’s husband, Paul Martin. All pertinent information is in the flier posted here. We are very happy to report that Paul is finally home to begin his recovery surrounded by his loving family! For those of you unable to be at the benefit and would like to send a donation, please message us for information on how to do this. We want to thank all of you for your continued support!!! Your concern, prayers and generosity have been a true blessing!

Hello Friends - I am posting this on behalf of our very good friend, Mary Martin, owner of Mary’s Gift Shop. Mary’s husband, Paul, was seriously injured by a horse about a month ago. He sustained severe head injuries and was hospitalized for three weeks (part of that time in a coma), then spent a week in rehabilitation. He is undergoing another operation to his skull this week. He still has a very long road to recovery. His family and friends in the Mennonite community will be holding a benefit BBQ / food sale on Friday, March 8 with a garage sale on Saturday, March 9. The attached flier has all pertinent information as to when and where. All the proceeds from Friday's food sale will go to Paul and his family to help him in his recovery (for those of you who are not aware, the Mennonite and Amish Communities do not carry insurance). If you would PLEASE share this post, especially those of you close to the Mennonite and Amish communities in the New Holland area, it sure would be appreciated! And if you can attend the sale yourself, we sure would be grateful! Mary and Paul and their family thank you!
