VoiceMento NYC

Yesterday we brought VoiceMento to the Water Lantern Festival on Long Island! 🏮☎️ Water Lantern Festival

Throughout the night, people stopped by to check out the telephone booth, learn about VoiceMento, take some photos, and leave their own voicemails based on different prompts we had displayed.

We got to hear everything from advice and opinions to stories and messages from complete strangers — all while meeting so many people who were discovering VoiceMento for the first time.

Here’s a little look at how the night went. 🏮✨

Tonight, two beams of light rise above New York City in remembrance of two towers, thousands of lives, and a day that forever changed our city and our country.

25 years later, New York still remembers.

May the light always remind us of those we lost, those who survived, the heroes who answered the call, and the families who continue to carry their memory.

A quarter century has passed, but we will never forget. 🇺🇸

Some voices become part of history.

Behind every transmission from September 11, 2001 was a person—a voice carrying courage, duty, and determination during unimaginable circumstances.

More than two decades later, hearing those voices brings us back to that morning in a way photographs and words never could.

We remember the voices. We remember the bravery. We remember those who came home, and those who never did.

Their voices will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

A moment when the unimaginable became reality.

On September 11, 2001, millions watched as the second plane struck the South Tower—and the horrifying realization set in that this was no accident.

Twenty-five years later, the shock of that morning is still difficult to comprehend.

We remember every life lost, every family forever changed, and a day our city and our country will never forget.

September 11, 2001. Never forget. 🇺🇸

On September 11, 2001, thousands of first responders answered a call unlike any other.

Firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and countless others put their own lives at risk for the chance to save someone else.

Some made it home. Far too many never did.

Today, we honor every first responder who answered the call—their courage, their sacrifice, and the families who carry the memory of those who never came home.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Some voices stay with us forever.

Today, we remember the lives lost, the families forever changed, and the words of love left behind.

September 11, 2001.
Never forgotten. 🇺🇸

Sometimes, the most powerful message is simply knowing you’re not alone. ❤️

In honor of September being Su***de Prevention Month, we’re sharing this beautiful message of hope left on our vintage VoiceMento phone at the Michael Berube Annual Color Run in Long Beach, NY:

A reminder to check in on the people you love, listen without judgment, and never underestimate how much a few words can mean to someone.
