Happy 2nd birthday to Snuggs & Nebby! 🎂🐾

These two littermates have been causing trouble together since day one, and today our birthday kitties are officially TWO!

They'll be spending their birthday lounging around the Apothecary, supervising everything, and accepting all appropriate amounts of attention and admiration.

We're open 3–6pm today if you'd like to stop by and wish Snuggs & Nebby a happy birthday!

We lost our girl Minnie this morning.

She wasn't a shop cat, technically. She came to us as a foster through Frankie's Friends on New Year's Day, alongside her friend Zelda. She had a little stub of a tail instead of a full one, and we never did find out the story behind that.

Foster was the plan. It was never really going to stick. We took one look at this bossy, sassy old lady and she became a foster fail we never got to make official, but ours all the same.

She was an absolute genius at finding the comfiest possible place to exist. The pizza bed was her masterpiece. Any box, any bag, any surface slightly too small for her — she'd claim it and dare you to say something.

She sometimes thought she was quite a dish. Sometimes a deep dish.

Say her name and she'd meow back, every single time. No one here does that quite like she did.

She'll be missed by us and by the rest of the crew who call this place home too, and by everyone who got to scratch her chin even once.

Rest easy, Minnie.
