Here at Ali J Boutique we specialize in personal style for women in their midlife. We are brick and mortar store located in New London, MN offering everything from apparel to shoes and accessories. We are a high touch boutique and we help women find their wow colors and how to fit and flatter their unique body shape.

Since announcing that Ali J Boutique is transitioning away from retail, you've had lots of great questions. Here are the ones I'm hearing most often!

1. So... no retail? Just personal styling?

That's right! My passion has always been helping women discover why certain styles work for them.

Instead of shopping from only what happened to be on my racks, I'll help you discover what truly flatters YOU and give you the confidence to shop anywhere.

My goal is no longer to sell you clothes. It's to help you never waste money on the wrong clothes again.

2. Where will you be located?

That's still being decided!

The front-running ideas are either a small studio space or a dedicated studio in my home. Without retail, I simply need a comfortable place with my styling tools and resources.

3. What will the new personal styling experience include?

We'll go beyond color analysis and body shape to explore:
• Colors (deeper dive including color combinations, your "wow" colors, and how to pair neutrals effectively)
• Body proportions & essence
• Fabrics
• Necklines & silhouettes
• Denim fit
• Hairstyles & hair color
• Makeup
• Accessories

The focus is education. You'll leave with a personalized portfolio you can reference every time you shop or get dressed.

4. Can I still shop with you after the boutique closes?

Absolutely! You just won't be shopping from an inventory I maintain.

Think of it like hiring an interior designer. They don't necessarily own a furniture store—they help you discover what works best in your home, then give you the confidence to shop anywhere.

That's exactly what personal styling will become. You'll leave with a master filter for every shopping trip, helping you save time, money, and frustration while building a wardrobe you love.

5. How do we stay connected?

Ali J isn't going anywhere—only the way I serve you is changing.

You'll still find me on the same Facebook, Instagram, email, and my website. The content will shift from new arrivals to client experiences, styling education, tips, discoveries, and practical advice.

A new chapter. 💛
Ali here. I have some news to share, and I wanted you to hear it directly from me.

Ali J is shifting from retail + personal styling to solely personal styling.

✨ That means personal styling isn't going anywhere—it's actually becoming my full focus.

A few quick answers to the questions I know many of you will have:

• No, I'm not selling Ali J Boutique. This community means far too much to me. ❤️
• The boutique will be open Fridays & Saturdays through the end of August, and we'd love to celebrate these final weekends with you.
• Yes, you can still book a personal style session through the end of August, and they will be at the boutique, just like usual.
• After that, personal styling will continue in an even deeper way, with more details coming soon—including a deeper dive into color analysis, body stature, and style essence to help you confidently shop anywhere.

Wade and I have been praying about this decision for quite some time, and God has given us a deep peace that this is the right next step for our family and for the mission of Ali J.

What I've always loved most isn't selling clothing—it's helping women understand *why* certain pieces truly work for them and giving them confidence in the process. Now I get to devote myself fully to that, and I couldn't be more excited.

To every customer, team member, model, event helper, My Midlife Closet member, and friend who's been part of this journey...
