**Customer Appreciation Post**

As a business owner, few things feel as great as knowing your customers are satisfied and getting positive feedback them. However, last weekend, something special happened. Last Friday night, a customer took possession of his brand new BA-303 300W bass amp. He immediately emailed me to tell me that "it is really a beautiful piece" and that "it sounds fantastic." As I had attempted to help him with his purchase decision and which model to get, he went on to tell me:

"You’re absolutely right about guiding me and my choice for the 303 with more of my taste being a classic Vintage style thing and yes, I like the two channels and the possibilities of what that will do by blending them."

He then asked a couple of questions about the tubes and bias values, and in an email Saturday morning, I answered him and told him thanks for the great feedback. He ended up calling me that morning and we talked for about 30 minutes. At the end of the phone conversation, he decided he loved the BA-303 so much, he had to have the 100W version BA-103 for smaller gigs.

Less than 24 hours of owning and apparently loving the BA-303, he came back and bought another amp. It's not lost on me the investment and commitment of someone turning around and doing that and what that means.

Every SonicTone customer to date has played an important part in getting this small business off the ground. And, there have been other repeat customers as well, which again, knowing what an investment a tube amp can be leaves me speechless and filled with gratitude.

So here's to all the SonicTone customers - thank you for your continued support! And, here's to his 100W BA-103 - already on the bench being built out!

BA-300 vs BA-303 - What's the Difference?

Both amps are 300W all-tube bass amp powerhouses - a real rarity in this day and age. They both have similar features, such as:
- FX loop
- Preamp out/power amp in
- Transformer-driven balanced XLR out
- 2-channels w/ channel switching
- -15dB pad for high output bass guitars
- Available as a 100W version (BA-100 and BA-103)

BA-300:
- A modern rock machine w/ a full-bodied clean on channel 1 and a great distortion on channel 2
- Independent footswitchable channels
- Perfect for modern rock and metal

BA-303:
- A vintage rock machine w/ a punchy clean tone and lots of headroom, based on the circuit in the SonicTone Highway
- Channel 1 is voiced darker and Channel 2 is voiced brighter
- Parallel channels, like the amps of old, but instead of four hole inputs, the channels are controllable via a footswitch & front panel switches
- Goes from a great clean tone to a full, punchy tone with a bit of grit when the preamp is pushed hard
