12:23 PM: Trump says NATO are cowards for not helping him.

12:29 PM: Trump says Iran is begging for a ceasefire.

12:31 PM: Trump says everything is “perfect.”

12:36 PM: Trump says $500-a-barrel oil is a good thing.

12:37 PM: Trump demands Iran open the Straits of Hormuz.

12:39 PM: Trump says the Straits were never closed.

12:41 PM: Trump says the US is not at war with Iran.

12:42 PM: Trump declares victory against Iran again.

It could not be more obvious that he does not have any kind of grasp on reality, and he needs to be removed from office by 25th Amendment ASAP.

We cannot let this man be left in charge of a war with thousands of lives on the line. He has no idea what is going on, has no plan to resolve it, and can't even stick to his own lies for more than ten minutes.

Poland must now recognise same-sex marriages conducted in other European Union member states following a landmark ruling by the country’s Supreme Administrative Court.

The decision follows a November 2025 ruling by the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU), which found that Poland had violated the rights of a same-sex couple by refusing to recognise their marriage.

The case dates back to 2018, when two Polish nationals married in Germany and sought to have their union transcribed into Poland’s civil register.

The couple challenged the decision in court, prompting a referral to the CJEU in Luxembourg to interpret EU law. In its ruling, the EU court determined that Poland’s refusal breached the couple’s rights under European legislation.

On Friday, Poland’s Supreme Administrative Court confirmed that the country must recognise same-sex marriages performed in other EU states. LGBTQ+ activists in the courtroom responded with applause, amid previous uncertainty over whether the ruling would be implemented domestically.

However, questions remain over the scope of the decision. According to RTÉ, it is unclear whether all same-sex marriages conducted across the EU will be recognised, or if the ruling will apply only to couples who have lived abroad for extended periods.

An estimated 30,000 to 40,000 same-sex marriages involving Polish citizens have taken place within the EU.

Poland remains one of several EU countries without legal recognition of same-sex unions, alongside Bulgaria, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Romania and Slovakia.

The retreat came after his Saturday ultimatum threatened to "obliterate" Iran's power plants if the Strait of Hormuz wasn't fully reopened without threat within 48 hours.

Iran never budged, and now claims no talks with the U.S. ever took place, though some regional countries are trying to de-escalate. Tehran spun it as Trump caving to avoid even higher energy prices and buying time for his military plans.

Markets reacted immediately: U.S. stock futures, which had been falling earlier, surged on the news, and oil prices dropped, a sign that investors see the threat as defused in the short term.

But this is classic Trump: issue a massive escalation threat, get no compliance, then declare "progress" and kick the can down the road for five days, while Iran claims the "productive conversations" he claims were all fantastical figments of his imagination.

The real reason? He wants to stabilize markets for his rich cronies who have been panicking as Trump’s ever-shifting blunders have made a mess of the entire situation.
