A message from our CEO: I fell in love with the city of New Orleans when I first visited at 16 years old. New Orleans is a city built on black culture, from the fashion, to the food, and the music. I ended up following that high school dream and attending college in this wild and welcoming city. I was given the opportunity to work with The NYANSA Classical Community, tutoring children in low income communities within the city. It was through this opportunity that I learned about the great disadvantage placed on the children of these low income communities, branching from the integration of for-profit charter schools after the beautiful people of New Orleans survived Hurricane Katrina. Here at The Brow Bling, we would like to announce that upon launch, and forever after that, we will be donating 25% of all proceeds from this business to the Covenant House of New Orleans. The Covenant House opens its doors to more than 900 youth and children in New Orleans with nowhere else to turn each year. 79% of their current youth are young black men and women. It is important to me personally that these children continue to have the resources they need to succeed provided to them in a system that currently sets them up for failure. The Brow Bling would never be without inspiration found right in the city of New Orleans. For that, we will forever be in debt. @ New Orleans, Louisiana
