This 7.25x14” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from 100% Louisiana Sinker Cypress staves. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is a beautiful example of Sinker Cypress.

Inspired by a drum I built for Jams Marotta, this is another ULTRALIGHT bass drum for carrying use in marching bands, parades, second lines, etc OR for any other use where an ultralight bass drum is required. This baby weighs in at 9 pounds 4 ounces.

Just finished milling the interior and the exterior of this 6.5 x 14“ Solid Stave Purpleheart shell I built a couple of weeks ago. Once it sits in the diffused sun for a few days, it will get more purple and then the clear coating process begins.

7 images of the Seven Six Drum Company PureSolid Mango Custom Snare Drum. This 7×14” custom true solid Mango snare drum shell is very unique as it is carved from a single solid log of highly figured Indonesian Mango. This drum is not made of an individual board that has been steam bent or multiple thin plies or 20 individual staves…this is literally a piece of wood that existed as a tree that has been put on a massive lathe and slowly carved into a cylindrical shape. This is an EXTREMEMLY expensive process and only 4 or 5 builders build ture solid snare drum shells. This drum is a collaboration piece… the shell comes in a raw form from Y&T Drums in Indonesia, and I add 8 coats of pricey, glossy, durable-as-hell 2k polyester clear coat. This drum has dual abalone inlays. Bearing edges are dual offset 45 degrees or roundover 30 degrees, upon your preference. This custom snare drum has a huge tuning range and is a beautiful example of figured solid Mango and will be available soon in various sizes with varying inlays. This one is outfitted with

The Seven Six Drum Company Green Canary Solid Stave Custom Snare Drum. This 5.5x13” custom handcrafted snare drum is built from Canarywood. This exotic wood has a hardness similar to hard maple, but has a much more complex grain structure and appearance. I added an aqua dye to the exterior, which, when combined with the natural yellows and light greens of the Canarywood, created a beautiful green shell. I topped it off with a crystal clear, glossy, glassy, pricey, pretty, durable polyester clear coat. This custom snare drum snaps, crackles, and pops, and is a gorgeous addition to any drum kit. This drum has:
