Erasing the old to make space for the good. ✏️✨

With a fresh school season starting, I would use a giant eraser right now to erase self-doubt for our kids as they try new things, stress and burnout for our teachers and staff, heavy thoughts, comparison, and the negative energies that stir in the halls.

Instead, here’s to filling these rooms with patience, kindness, bright moments, and plenty of room to grow (and make mistakes!)

Sending so much love and big prayers out to all the students, educators, and parents stepping into this school year. May your days be steady, your hearts light, and your pencils sharp! 💛

"He has made everything beautiful in its time." — Ecclesiastes 3:11 ✨

​Loose threads, sketched lines, and patient stitching... ​These past few weeks, my heart has been heavy for loved ones who are grieving. I’ve often heard people say, "I could never get through this without God."

​Looking back, I remember going through really tough seasons without Jesus in my heart. I made it through, but I had no words to convey what was happening in my spirit, and it was hard to even process the weight of it all—from my daddy’s first battle with cancer, to losing family members, to seeing dear friends face heartbreaks that no one should ever have to endure. Everything felt like loose ends and sketchy, incomplete paths that I could follow, but didn't really have to..

​To me, this stitched cross represents the deep suffering our Creator went through. It can help us in our darkest, messiest moments.. we aren't left without comfort or hope. There’s an unrest in all of us that only Jesus can truly quiet 🙏 It also represents the patience Father has for all His children in their suffering. What a good good, Man. What a wonderful God 🙌

Sorry for the guineas hooping and hollering at first, but something about their screams, well... sung to me... Made this special piece for someone who pours so much more out than they can even hold. But that is what strength looks like when Jesus' hands are on your business, too. That's what I want more of.. More of His hands in what I do. Not more world, not more noise, not more screaming — but more faith, more growth, and more love planted right where we are. 🌻✨
