Join us Saturday, August 15 for our Orchid Terrarium Workshop, featuring the striking Lightning Jewel Orchid; a terrestrial orchid prized for its dark, velvety foliage and electric-looking veins.

We’ll build a lush terrarium around the orchid using driftwood, moss, and natural materials, while learning how terrestrial orchids grow, what makes jewel orchids different, and how to care for your finished terrarium at home.

Come make something beautiful, learn something new, and leave with your own living piece of the forest floor.

The WE BITE Soil Bar is where plants, pots, soil and a little know-how come together. Bring something from your collection or start with something entirely new. Explore the pots, talk plants with our Dirt Dealer, find the right soil and amendments, and leave with something beautifully potted and ready for its next chapter.

We’ve created three ways to experience it: The Whole Affair, The Concoction, and House Blend. Swipe through to find yours.

And on Tuesdays, the Soil Bar takes center stage. Repotting labor is waived every Tuesday, so bring us what you’ve got, or find something new while you’re here.

Let’s nerd out a moment. We’ve sold this plant as ‘Florida Red’ but it’s now been reclassified as its own species of Drosera, meaning it’s Florida’s only known endemic carnivorous plant so if you have one of these, it’s specialness has just been elevated.

Bring in a houseplant that’s ready for a fresh start, or pick out something new while you’re here, and we’ll help you choose the right pot, soil, and materials to set it up for success.

🌿 Every Tuesday, repotting labor is waived.

Need to keep moving? Drop your plant off and pick it up later that day, freshly repotted and ready to go.

Whether you’re caring for one favorite plant or an entire collection, Tuesdays are the perfect day to stop by.

Something hot just arrived. And it’s not just summer.

Alocasia ‘Venom’ has landed at We Bite.

One of the most talked-about new plants this year is finally here, alongside fresh rare plant arrivals throughout the shop. There’s something new around every corner, and this week’s no exception.

July Workshops are filling up fast, so if you’ve been thinking about joining us, now’s the time to reserve your spot.

Our family hit the road this week for our first Asheville pop-up. Thanks for supporting this weird little plant shop. It’s because of this community that we get to share WE BITE beyond New Orleans.
