Abandoned Sydney Talker Suffers Possible Coronavirus Symptom Without Help (Video)

Copped up and abandoned by the government for lacking adequate symptoms popular comedian and internet sensation Sydney talker have come down with the virus, however has been abandoned by the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control saying that it's just one of his comic skits.

In their response says,

“We received several messages & calls, over an Instagram video. The individual was said to be very sick & reported that NCDC did not respond.

“We have reached out to him and he said what he did was a SKIT. He is well.”

The NCDC concluded by urging people not to spread panic.

In response to the tweet, the comedian refuted the NCDC’s claim that he is well. He wrote:

“What kind of lie is this???😭😡 you didn’t reach out to me and I wasn’t doing a skit. Please all I want is to be tested because the symptoms get worse by the day”

Following the popular laugh master’s response, many of his fans and Nigerians alike flooded social media to ask the NCD to test the comedian.

Italy Shuts Down Schools As Coronavirus Death's Increases

Italy has confirmed that it will shut all schools from Thursday for 10 days as it battles to contain the coronavirus outbreak.

All schools and universities are to close until 15 March, officials said.

A total of 107 people have now been killed by the coronavirus in Italy, which has the most serious outbreak in Europe.

Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte said the country's health service risked being overwhelmed.

Most of the more than 3,000 cases are in the north but others have been confirmed in 19 of Italy's 20 regions.

Globally about 3,200 people have died and more than 90,000 have been infected, the vast majority in China, where the virus emerged late last year.

The World Health Organization has so far stopped short of declaring a pandemic - an epidemic spreading across the world through local transmission - but on Wednesday Germany's health minister said the coronavirus now met the definition.

"The situation is changing very quickly... What's clear is that we have not yet reached the peak of the outbreak,"

Man City Banned By UEFA Champions League For Two Season's

Even if they finish in the top-four this season in the Premier League, Manchester City look destined to miss out on next season’s Champions League as they have been banned from the prestigious competition and all other UEFA competitions for the next two seasons.

The English Premier League side have also been fined £24.9 million for “serious breaches” of Financial Fair Play regulations.

As reported by Sky Sports, an Adjudicatory Chamber of the Club Financial Control Body (CFCB) found the Premier League champions guilty of serious breaches of the UEFA Club Licensing and Financial Fair Play Regulations.

In a statement, UEFA said City “overstated its sponsorship revenue in its accounts and in the break-even information submitted to UEFA between 2012 and 2016”.

The club were also found guilty of “failing to cooperate in the investigation of this case by the CFCB.”

After the news broke, Man City released the following statement: “Manchester City is disappointed but not surprised by today’s announcement by the UEFA Adjudicatory Chamber. The club has always anticipated the ultimate need to seek out an independent body and process to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence in support of its position.

“In December 2018, the UEFA Chief Investigator publicly previewed the outcome and sanction he intended to be delivered to Manchester City, before any investigation, had even begun. The subsequent flawed and consistently leaked UEFA process he oversaw has meant that there was little doubt in the result that he would deliver. The Club has formally complained to the UEFA Disciplinary body, a complaint which was validated by a CAS ruling.

“Simply put, this is a case initiated by UEFA, prosecuted by UEFA and judged by UEFA. With this prejudicial process now over, the club will pursue an impartial judgement as quickly as possible and will..

How UNN Nearly Became A Witchcraft Meeting Venue

The witchcraft conference at Nsukka

It was with a sense of tragic sorrow that I read the vacuous reactions of some Nigerians to an announcement by the B.I.C. Ijomah Center for Policy Studies and Research at the University of Nigeria Nsukka that the centre would host an international conference on witchcraft. Some Christian associations came up with fasting and prayer to prevent the conference.
The Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria trivialised the import of the proposed conference by asserting that “Enugu State would be in serious danger if the proposed conference was allowed to hold” and that they “cannot fold their arms and watch our future dragged into what will not give God glory.”

My greatest disappointment was in the University’s decision that ‘the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Charles Igwe, has directed that the topic for the Interdisciplinary and International Seminar by the B.I.C Ijomah Center for Research scheduled for the 26th November be instantly dropped forthwith’.

A university that should have stood firm to defend knowledge easily caved in because our public institutions have been gradually destroyed by ‘amala’ politics! If a university abroad can host a conference on Unidentified Flying Objects if a university in America or Vienna could accept a paper on Ifa studies, what do we stand to lose in Nigerian if academics interrogated witchcraft in the land?

The conference was aptly titled “Witchcraft: Meaning, Factors and Practices” to let people know that it was simply an inquiry into the phenomenon. It does not amount to endorsing witchcraft. In the minds of some, the conference would be attended by wizards and witches to plan how to wreak havoc on Nigeria. That academics had quietly investigated witchcraft as an academic exercise was of no relevance to the ‘crucify him’ mentality. Did it occur to opposers of the witchcraft conference that papers could be produced...

Overhead Water Tank Kills Pupils In Class

An overhead water tank, filled with water, inside a residential compound, on Wednesday, fell into a school compound, atop a classroom in Royal Kings Foundation Nursery and Primary School Nkpor-Agu in Idemili North LGA of Anambra State, killing two pupils.

A source said the tank fell on the roof of the classroom while the pupils were inside learning.

Anambra State Police public relations officer, SP Haruna Mohammed who confirmed the incident to DAILY POST said police patrol team led by DPO Ogidi Division, CSP Mark Ijarafu rushed to the scene to behold the incident.

He said, “On arrival, it was discovered that the overhead tank of about 800 gallons capacity, filled with water, fell from its high stand from a neighbouring house adjacent to the school on the roof of the pre-nursery class and directly into the classroom.

“As a result, four children sustained varying degrees of injuries and were rushed to Idemili hospital Nkpor for medical attention.

“Unfortunately, two of the children namely, Wisdom Ezewudo ‘m’ aged about 3years and a female pupil of about 2years, whose identity is yet to be ascertained were confirmed dead on arrival by a medical doctor, while two others namely Chimelumeze Obelenwa ‘m’ aged one year and seven months and Kosisochukwu Anthony ‘m’ aged one year ten months

are responding to treatment.”

Top 5 Richest pastor's in Nigeria

God is good, especially if you’re a Nigerian pastor with some business savvy. These days, millions of souls, desperate for financial breakthroughs, miracles and healing, all rush to the church for redemption. And while the bible expressly states that salvation is free, at times it comes with a cost: offerings, tithes, gifts to spiritual leaders, and a directive to buy literature and other products created by men of God.

Pastors are no longer solely interested in getting people to Heaven; they’ve devised intelligent ways to make good money while reaching out to souls.

Take Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, for example. He is the founder and lead pastor of the Christ Embassy, a thriving congregation with branches in Nigeria, South Africa, London, Canada and the United States. His publishing company, Loveworld Publications, publishes ‘Rhapsody of Realities,’ a monthly devotional he co-authors with his wife. It sells over 2 million copies every month at $1 apiece. He also owns television stations, newspapers, magazines, a hotel, a fast-food chain, and more.

Many other Nigerian pastors are similarly building multi-million dollar empires from their churches. Today, pastors fly around in private jets, drive fancy cars like Daimlers, Porsches and BMWs, don Rolexes and Patek Phillipes, and own breathtaking mansions all over the world.

After the blog post I wrote in May about Nigerian pastors owning private jets, I was bombarded with emails from readers requesting to know the richest pastors in Nigeria. So I set out to investigate the assets of some of Nigeria’s most prominent pastors, and I came up with conservative estimates of their fortunes. I contacted representatives for all of the pastors and all except Matthew Ashimolowo’s representative confirmed ownership of the assets I list. Representatives for Pastor Ashimolowo did not respond to my emails.

Chaos As Lagos Motorbike ban take's effect (okada)

There has been widespread disruption in Nigeria's commercial capital, Lagos on the first working day of a ban on motorbike- and tricycle-taxis.

There were long queues at bus stations even though extra transport was laid on, while some walked for miles.

Commercial motorbikes are the most common form of public transport in the city of at least 20 million people, which is notorious for traffic jams.

The authorities said the ban was needed because of safety concerns.

They said the motorbike taxis, known as okadas, and tricycles, called kekes, caused "death and disorderliness"
