My partner Jason and I met several years ago and quickly discovered we both had a love of all things yarn! Pretty soon most of our days were spent on the couch with him crocheting and me spinning. After some time I realized my true passion is in fiber arts and began taking my spinning and dyeing a little more seriously. With a little encouragement from Jason we decided to branch out of just making
gifts for our friends and family and make the jump into selling our handspun and hand dyed to others. We live in New Orleans LA and absolutely love it, and we both love exploring the Gulf Coast as much as possible. A lot of the inspiration for our different colorways come from landscapes and various things we see along the coast. Our goal is to share our passion for the fiber arts while promoting all the amazing things the Gulf Coast has to offer! All of our products are handmade and created in our little workshop in the back of our shotgun house in the historic Treme neighborhood of New Orleans. We're really lucky to have such an amazing space to create our yarns and fiber blends, and I feel grateful that I can wake up in the morning, walk our dogs, and then head back to our workshop to sit and spin while listening to NPR. The wool we use is mainly from local farms from around the Gulf Coast (Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida) and we do our best to try and take a road trip to visit these farms and actually meet the sheep who provide us with wool. It's really fun and I would recommend everyone to go check out a sheep farm that's close to you! Thank you for reading about us and our shop and we look forward to building lasting relationships with all our customers and to provide the best quality products possible.
