If you're free this afternoon, head over to the Gardiner Library (133 Farmer's Turnpike) between 2-4pm for a reception celebrating children's book illustrator Doug Hansen.

His original gouache and watercolor paintings — including work from Mother Goose and Aesop in California — will be on view through August 30th.

If you can't make it today, the show runs all summer at the Gardiner Library. The hours are:
Tue-Thu 10am-8pm
Fri-Sun 10am-4pm
Mondays the library is closed

We are always happy to point our neighbors toward good art, wherever it's hanging.
