We’ve got something BIG in the works at Inchstone Books, and while we’re not quite ready to spill all the details yet… we are ready to start finding some incredible local makers and vendors! Think: bookish goodies, reader accessories, art, gifts, treats, and all the things that make a book lover say “okay fine, take my money.” 😂

Join us for a viewing party to watch Kristin Hannah in conversation with Monica Hesse at Sixth & I!

To mark the paperback release of the #1 New York Times bestseller, The Women, author Kristin Hannah shares more about this intimate portrait of a woman coming of age in a dangerous time and an epic tale of a nation divided by war and politics, as well as her other celebrated works, including The Nightingale, The Great Alone, and The Four Winds.

Hannah will be in conversation with Monica Hesse, a screens critic for the Style section of The Washington Post and former Opinion columnist who wrote about gender and its impact on society. Hesse is the author of historical fiction novels including They Went Left and Girl in the Blue Coat.

Our Bookish Fairy Garden workshop was an absolute BLAST - and can we please talk about how ridiculously adorable these turned out?! 😭

One of our favorite parts was seeing how completely different every garden became. Same supplies, totally different imaginations, and every single one had its own little story.

Thank you so much to everyone who came out, got a little messy, and spent the evening creating with us. 💚 These are exactly the kinds of nights we dreamed about when we imagined Inchstone Books.

Judging by how much fun we had… I have a feeling the fairies may need to return. 👀🧚‍♀️📖

Happy Monday, New Port Richey! Can you BELIEVE it’s almost September?!

We’ve got a big week ahead at Inchstone with Bookish Fairy Gardens, book clubs, Inchstone Village, and more - but we’re pressing pause for just a second because our September calendar is HERE! 🍂

This September, we’ll be bedazzling books, celebrating the midnight release of Threshing Day, gathering for book clubs & getting creative together. Check out all of our special events below, and register through our Eventbrite — link in the comments!

One more thing that’s especially important to me: each month, we choose a nonprofit to support through Inchstone Books, and September’s is incredibly close to my heart. Su***de has directly impacted my family, so having the opportunity to support an organization doing meaningful work in su***de prevention and support means more to me than I can really put into words.

I’m grateful that this little bookstore gives us a way to give back - and even more grateful to every single one of you who shops with us, attends our events, shares our posts, and supports our little dream. You’re the reason we’re able to do it. ❤️

Today was one of those days we’re going to remember for a long, long time. 🥹 To every single person who came out to celebrate Bookstore Romance Day with us — THANK YOU.

Our community, once again, overwhelmed us with support in the best possible way. When you support a little independent bookstore like ours, it means more than you probably realize. You’re helping us keep these shelves full, keep hosting ridiculous and wonderful events, keep creating a space where everyone belongs, keep giving back to our community, keep building togetherness, and keep doing this thing we dreamed about doing.

We are tired. Our shelves are a little bare. Our hearts are VERY full. ❤️

Thank you for showing up our little store today and choosing to spend your Saturday with us. Seriously. We love you guys.

Now excuse us while we order approximately one million books to refill these shelves. 😂
