My friend Hinger asked me to turn her NYC Marathon Poncho into a vest! We have both seen other runners do this, and she asked me to give it a whirl.

Whelp I tried something new. I’ve been knitting for about 11 years now and have made everything from scarves to hats to mittens and baby sweaters and hats and booties. I’ve only ever made one pair of socks. A lady in a community group I’m in asked if anyone could make a matching stocking to the one on the left. Well I tried and it’s not perfect but at least she has a stocking for her future son-in-law fo Christmas!

Recent knit creations- baby sweaters with a paid for pattern. I love this pattern- it was a challenge to change it for worsted weight yarn but I do love how they came out! Happy to gift them to 2 of my coworkers as they are expecting!!
