These are some close-ups of my new Line Lock lures designed to catch the game fish in U.S. rivers, streams, and lakes. (Of course not limited to U.S. fish 😉).

The lure heads have a new and patented means of attaching the lure to the fishing line (Line Lock), which truly eliminates knot tying, and provides 100% line strength, using either mono or braided.

Another benefit of these lures is the w**d guard and bite depth limit, which reduces the number of tanglements in w**ds, and also prevents gut swallowing, making the lures easier on the fish and faster release (if that is the plan) back into the water.

One version of the new line lock lure is to be simply an adapter to existing lures, allowing anglers to use their favorite lures, while adding the ease of attachment and the w**d guard / bite depth skirt, which looks like insects wings.

Another version of my new foxfishingUSA Line Lock lures are like the ones pictured, which accept artificial rubber grubs, which all game fish like! They will be supplied in a convenient pop top bottle that easily attaches to your belt loop, or stows in your shirt pocket. I keep mine attached to my landing net.

Testing out my new prototype lures, designed specifically for game fish in the USA inland waterways. Very successful past month visiting Montana to test the lures on trout, which are among the most wary of game fish. Craig Montana, in the Missouri River is an excellent place to fish for these monsters, and also North Yellowstone in the Yellowstone River.

Many anglers higher guides in Craig Montana and float down the Missouri River in drift boats while using their fly rods to cast in the waters, which are abundant with trout, some of them quite large.

Bass, Walleye, Crappie, (pretty much all panfish) also like these lures, which are intended to look more like insects than minnows, and the wings act as a w**d guard, and also a bite depth control. I'm now making some bigger wins to go after Northern Pike and Muskie.

The bite depth controller, w**d deflector not only helps prevent w**d entanglement on the hooks, but also prevents the fish from gut-swallowing the hooks, making it easier to remove the hooks from the fish's mouth, and therefore easier on the fish, which I always catch and release. Minimizing the fish's time out of the water is important for there quick return to foraging.

Another great spot to fish out in Montana is in the northern Yellowstone area on the Yellowstone River. Some great fish in there as well, Brownies and Rainbows are primarily what I caught, after talking with the guys in Livingston Montana, who run Bailey's Fly Shop. If you're out in Montana, be sure to visit Livingston, one of the coolest fly shops ever. The owner was a consultant to the film crew of A River Runs Through It, written and directed by Robert Redford and starring Brad Pitt, a must watch for every fly fishing angler. Most of that movie was actually filmed in Livingston, not Missoula where the movie is set.
