I wasn’t expecting this today 🥹

A handwritten note from one of my little customers about how much they appreciate me and this store… and it truly touched my heart. People may see a toy store, but for me it has always been bigger than that.

It’s a space built with love, learning, community and moments like this remind me why I started and why I keep going.

This was my reminder today: what you build with love always reaches farther than you think. Thank you P 💕💕

📢 Attention NeeDoh Waitlist Customers

We are pleased to announce that our NeeDoh shipment has arrived.

If you previously requested NeeDohs and were placed on our waitlist, please call the store or stop by at your earliest convenience. We are currently contacting customers who have been patiently waiting for these items.

To ensure fairness and availability, these NeeDohs are being reserved for customers who were already on our waitlist. We respectfully ask that individuals who did not previously request NeeDohs refrain from contacting the store regarding this shipment at this time.

Thank you for your patience, loyalty, and continued support of our small business. We truly appreciate you.

At today’s seminar, one thing became very clear… our young boys need more emotionally healthy men pouring into them.

Too many young men are growing up believing that being “tough” means hiding emotions, shutting down, reacting with anger, or never expressing what they truly feel. And honestly, that should concern all of us. Some of these young men struggled to identify emotions or communicate feelings, yet were comfortable talking about appearances and aggression. That says a lot about what society has taught them masculinity is supposed to look like.

At Kemesha’s Kommunity, we believe vulnerability is not weakness. Communication is strength. Accountability is strength. Discipline is strength. Emotional discipline and mental discipline are part of becoming a healthy man and future leader.

This is why mentorship matters so much. We need more fathers, coaches, mentors, teachers, and community leaders willing to have real conversations with our boys. Boys eventually become men, husbands, fathers, and leaders. If we do not teach them emotional intelligence, self-control, communication, and authenticity now, we will continue to see generations of emotionally disconnected men struggling in silence.

As a community, we all play a role in changing that. Our young men deserve safe spaces, guidance, understanding, and people willing to pour into them beyond sports, appearances, or survival mode. They deserve to know that real strength is not found in intimidation or aggression, but in self-awareness, respect, communication, and discipline.

The next generation is watching. Let’s lead them better.

Today, we pause to remember that Memorial Day is more than a long weekend.

It is a day to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country. Because of their courage, dedication, and selflessness, we are able to enjoy the freedoms we have today.

As we spend time with family and loved ones, let us also take a moment to reflect, remember, and give thanks to those who gave everything for our nation.

From our TP Toys family to yours, we wish everyone a safe and meaningful Memorial Day. 🇺🇸❤️🤍💙

Still in disbelief over this moment. 🙌🏽

Today, actor David Zayas stopped back into TP Toys & Kemesha’s Kommunity after previously telling me that once the center was fully up and running, he would return to support what we are building for our community and he kept his word. That meant a lot to me.

Not only did he come back to show love, but he also grabbed a few gifts, donated and made sure to support our amazing new author Adam Castiglia by purchasing his books too. That right there speaks volumes. Supporting small businesses, supporting literacy, supporting community, supporting purpose.

People always see the finished product, but moments like this remind me that there are people who truly believe in the work we’re doing behind the scenes for our youth and families here in New Rochelle.

Grateful. Humbled. Motivated even more. 💜

Community support will always mean more than celebrity status… but when someone with a platform chooses to pour into your vision anyway? That feeling is different. 🙏🏽

Good morning, everyone.

Over the last week, and continuing into this week, I have dedicated my time to meeting with and responding directly to New Rochelle residents. If you reached out with a concern, a conversation, or a meeting request, my priority has been to personally respond to you and those conversations are absolutely continuing daily.

Let me be clear! This is not performative for me. The concerns being shared are real, the disappointment many residents are expressing is real, and the demand for accountability, transparency, and stronger community connection is undeniable. I take that seriously.

Many of you know exactly where to find me, right at the toy store, at the Kommunity center, out walking, talking, listening, and engaging with the people who call this city home. All these meetings and conversations have definitely added extra steps to my day, lol, but every single conversation has been worth it because I am rooted here in this community.

I also want to remind every one of something important, you DO NOT need a title to care about your community. And truthfully, a title alone does not make someone a leader. Real leadership is shown through presence, consistency, accountability, transparency, and a willingness to listen even when the conversations become uncomfortable. Titles can be given, and titles can be taken away, but genuine commitment to people will always speak for itself.

My focus remains where it has always been, listening to residents, addressing concerns, building connections, and continuing to do the work necessary to strengthen our community. I am not going anywhere. I will continue showing up, continuing the conversations, and doing my part to help make New Rochelle a city we can all truly feel proud to call home.
