New Town Marina Lake Sakakawea’s go-to Marina for world-class walleye fishing, a full-service bait and tackle shop, and campground ammenities.

New Town Marina is operated by the New Town Marine Club, a nonprofit dedicated to serving the recreating public and preserving Lake Sakakawea for future generations. Located near New Town, ND, we offer a protected marina, campground, full-service concessions store, fuel, fish cleaning station, and premier access to world-class walleye fishing. Campground open May 1 - Oct 31 (weather permitting).

Due to early ice-off, the New Town Marine Club will open park gates on April 17 for lake access only to continue supporting the recreating public.

Camping will begin as scheduled on May 1.
Please note: Water will remain off, and the fish cleaning station will be closed.

🎣All fish must be taken with you.
🚫Fish guts are NOT allowed in dumpsters.

We ask everyone to respect these rules and help hold others accountable. Failure to do so may result in the park being closed and this early access privilege being revoked.

Fish cleaning will be shutting down this weekend, with that being said please plan ahead as there will be NO cleaning fish at the marina once it shuts down! Also absolutely NO fish guts in the dumpsters
