To my fellow food business owners taking a day away from the daily operation, just like we are. wanted to share why this fight matters.
Human behavior is changing. People are not just searching Google anymore. They are asking AI things like:
“I just got out of the gym. Suggest a high-protein meal under $15 and order it for pickup.”
Humans are moving from searching websites and delivery apps to simply having conversations with AI.
As a small business owner, I keep asking myself:
When that becomes the norm, will locally owned businesses be part of those conversations?
That’s why we are building Muju: a community-backed local layer designed exclusively for locally owned businesses. We believe local businesses should not have to rely on 20–25% commissions or pay to be discovered. We should be found naturally and keep more of what we earn.
