This Rare Phantom Grey Amphibole features the most interesting mineral combinations of Hematite, Kaolinite, Limonite, Lithium, and Riebeckite. Riebeckite is a Sodium-rich of Silicate minerals. The concentration of Iron on its formation makes this Amphibole more Grey.

RAINBOW GALAXY AMETHYST

Amethyst is one of the world’s most popular stones and has been around since ancient times.

While Amethyst is known as the purple variety of Quartz, the color can vary from a dark violet to other unique colors such as Green, Pink, Orange, Yellow, et cetera.
Naturally occurred “Rainbow” Amethyst derive their beautiful colors from the presence of other minerals (hematite, chlorite, iron) and defects in their crystalline structures being altered during exposure to natural radiation.

Amethyst is nothing but an extraordinary crystal. Our new arrivals - “Galaxy” Amethysts from Uruguay are great examples of what natural colored amethysts look like, with a little bit of “spice”.

SPANISH PYRITE

Cubic Pyrites from Navajún are definitely our new favorites. Believe it or not, these intricate Pyrite structures form naturally from the ground. They grow in several single cubes on matrix, and sometimes in really unique interlocking Pyrite clusters. Pyrite can be found all over the world, the mines in Navajún are the only places that produce these highly aesthetic Cubic Pyrite specimens.

These lustrous Pyrites will be available in our upcoming Live Sale at 7PM EST.

Piedra Parada Veracruz Amethyst

The finest Piedra Parada Amethyst specimens feature an excellent saturation, outstanding transparency, and glassy luster. These Piedra Parada Amethysts can form in single prismatic Laser points, sceptered prisms, or in eye-catching, complex clusters on a matrix base. On very rare occasions, enhydros may also be present within the prism.

The challenging journey to unearth these precious Amethyst crystals requires hours of mule ride to reach the steep, and heavily eroded volcanic canyons of Piedra Parada. Local miners only use simple tools and knowledgeable mining methods to acquire the Amethyst specimens.

We were extremely lucky to have met the gentleman who were selling his last old stock of Museum Quality Piedra Parada Amethysts as the supply has stopped completely. We took the opportunity to acquire the Amethyst specimens. Each single piece was carefully handpicked by us and we are confident to say that their excellent aesthetic will blow your mind away.

Many of these rare Piedra Parada Amethysts will be available in our Live Sale tomorrow 06/04.
