"Hi! My name is Camille and I am sharing with you the story of how Nightingale was born.... When my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time, I found myself spending so much time helping my family's friends find the best ways to support her, it was hard to find time to even support myself. One day, I stumbled across some silly post that read "when life gives you lemons..." (you know the rest). In any other moment, I would have scrolled right past this cliché. But, on that day, it gave me some much needed hope -- I thought 'Maybe my family is going through this terrible battle again because there is some "lemonade" that just hasn't been made yet.'⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

A few weeks later, my mom opened a care package sent by one of her friends who had battled breast cancer. This friend knew exactly what to send, and my mom was so touched by the thoughtfulness and usefulness of the box's contents. That is when I realized I had found my make-lemonade-from-lemons moment! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I founded Nightingale to help friends and family who are struggling with what to say and what to do for their loved one. I want to make it easy to send thoughtful and useful gifts that they will love to open and actually use!"
