we’re back! we took a couple of weeks off work after finalizing our first commissioned furniture pieces: three stools for a new coffeeshop opening very soon in the upper west side!

we’re super excited to finally share the entire design and manufacturing process with you! more info about the coffeeshop’s name and where you can find our pieces coming soon!

thank you to for commissioning us to design these stools for one of their latest projects, to pratt’s wood and cnc shop and to for guidance on using some of the machinery!

Funtastic Studio is a team of collectors fascinated with home products from furnishing to books. Taking inspiration from the Funtastic World of Hanna Barbera, we aspire to find playful and colorful icons in the world of design. We search for pieces from history and refurbish space age - mid century home goods for another life on the market.

Building our collection, helping others start or complete theirs, and sharing pieces with the community is our focus and goal. Understanding these funtastic designs from the past will help bring our own designs to fruition as Funtastic Studio continues to build.
