payton talbott’s “black hole” tattoo is most likely a reference to hollow holes from bleach.

in the series, these holes are a visual representation of a hollow’s lost heart and signify their transformation from a human soul into a corrupted form.

in an interview, talbott states that his tattoo is “a hole that runs through my body that represents eternal void, emptiness, lack of emotion.”

rohan mirza is a designer who grew up on computers and video games before he started in fashion design. mirza has said he doesn’t separate “physical” and “virtual.” to him, the internet is as real as real life.

2016 playboi carti at vfiles runway 7

vfiles was one of the most influential fashion platforms of the 2010s for streetwear, emerging designers, and underground music. its runway program gave emerging designers a way to submit work, get selected for new york fashion week, and work with established mentors across fashion and music.

carti, still early in his career, closed the vfiles runway performing “of course we ghetto flowers” and “what!” in a supreme aw16 patchwork anorak, undercover aw05 “85” denim, and bred jordan 1s.

fun fact from that season… young thug was a runway 7 mentor and was shown the work of selected designer alessandro trincone through vfiles. he ended up choosing trincone’s blue dress look for the iconic jeffery cover, which was released just before the show.
