This beautiful and powerful devotion was given to us by Our Lady as means to draw deeper into the mysteries of the life of Christ 🥰The month of October is dedicated to the Holy Rosary.
When I was little, every October, our church would lend out a beautiful statute of Our Lady of Fatima. We would all keep it for a week at a time and during that time we were meant to pray the rosary daily as a family. I remember my neighbor Virginia, an elderly, tough, tiny little woman, would come over every night to pray with my mom and my dad and I. The next week, when it was her turn to have Our Lady visit, we would all go over to her house to pray together. We did this the entire month of October, for many years, until she moved. I didn’t know it then, but Our Blessed Mother, had planted in my heart the seed for this devotion even though I had no idea what the prayers actually meant.
Our Lady, the loving mother that she is, always knows exactly what we need. She is most attentive to all her children and is always ready to come to our assistance. Ask for her guidance, and intercession in all things! She is, after all, the Mediatrix of all grace!
