For hundreds of years, Berber tribes of Morocco have created intricate jewelry to adorn the bodies of Berber women not merely to aesthetic ends, but to convey information about the positions of women within their tribal worlds, including messages about fertility, wealth, and social hierarchy.

For Muslims, Ramadan is a period of introspection. After the sunset, Muslims gather in their homes or mosques to break their fast with a meal called iftar that is often shared with friends and extended family. The table settings are given a lot of attention with beautiful bowls, plates, serving trays..
In Morocco, iftar meal may change from one family to another, depending on the region and also between cities… in addition to Harira (traditional Moroccan soup), and Chabbakiya (honey pastry), you’ll find Sellou (almond and roasted flour desert), Baghrir and Mellaoui (Moroccan pancakes) and lots of fluid for hydration with mainly mint tea.

around her in one single continuous line. Amazigh culture as she creates her own graphic language of signs and symbols to translate her own experiences living in Morocco.
