Our story begins a decade ago when co-founders Lindsay and Alyssa befriended one another while living on intersecting streets in San Francisco. One lived on Pine Street; the other on Polk. “Meet you on the corner of” became the opening line to their many adventures together. A shared love of all things food and drink had them constantly exploring the san Francisco culinary scene—restaurants, winer

ies, and bars, oh my! Several years later, fate moved them back home to NYC. There was nothing left to do but dive head first into their ultimate dream: a space for epicurean goods and late night drinks; a way to mix the cool, crisp vibes of the west coast with the richness and depth of our favorite east coast city.

If you live or work in the area, we know that you’ve had your fair share of salads for lunch—we’re here to help you get out of your salad funk! We’re so excited to team up with  for the months of November and December, and offer you warm, delicious, comforting Chinese food right here at Pine & Polk. You may know Milu from their Brooklyn or Flatiron locations, but starting November 1st, we’re thrilled to welcome them to the neighborhood. They’ll be serving five of their signature 🍚 bowls!
 
Don’t you worry though, all of the Pine & Polk offerings you’ve come to love will still be on our shelves and available for purchase 🍯🧀🍫🫒.  In addition to our standard offerings, you’ll also be able to purchase some of Milu’s pantry staples like Hoisin Sauce, Dumpling Sauce, and more.

As most of you know by now, the Untitled Homage to the People that Matter is a really important cocktail to us. While it's a happy reminder of some special people in our lives, it also honors the relationship our owner, , has with Hawaii, specifically Maui 🌺. Alyssa was lucky enough to spend two years on Maui, working in hospitality, but embracing the aloha way of life. She says "everything about being there was good for the soul!" With one sip of this drink, the flavors of pineapple and passionfruit will transport you from the concrete jungle to the beautiful island of Maui.

We're devastated by the damage Maui has suffered from the wildfires, and want to do what we can to help. This month, a portion of the proceeds from the Untitled Homage will be donated to , which aims to get money into the hands of residents who have been displaced and need help with immediacy. We hope you'll come have a drink with us and support our Maui friends!

One of our favorite female-founded brands, owner is leaning into the 16th-century name which referred to the daughters and wives of fishermen who were brash, foul-mouthed, and brassy (f*$k, yeah!). They source all of their fish from Kvarøy Arctic, the first Finfish farm to carry the Fair Trade USA seal, BAP, ASC and Global G.A.P. certification⁠. C'mon, how impressive is that?!⁠

Some of you may be in on our secret 🤫 at this point, Pine & Polk is our sweet little provisions shop that leads to really delicious cocktails. You walk in through the shop, and you guessed it, you exit through the shop too! We’re sure you’ll have a memorable cocktail in between. Keep this one low ABV with a gorgeous blend of amontillado sherry, montenegro, chocolate black tea infused sweet vermouth and black truffle oil, or add bourbon or mezcal to make it a little boozy. Either way, this drink is the perfect way to end your evening before grabbing that snack and exiting through our favorite gift shop.

They represent a love for all things food and cooking using healthy and quality ingredients. The brand came to life at a small kiosk within the walls of Chelsea Market proving that tahini and halva were way more versatile than anyone could have thought. They’ve expanded well beyond the market and sell their products all over the country. ⁠

Their line of DELICIOUS halva features flavors that range from sweet to salty to savory—and most importantly we carry them here at Pine & Polk. Our current favorite: Dark Chocolate and Sea Salt!
