⭐ A moment that defined for me what "representation" really meant. ⭐
Here's what I learned in 23 years of being an engineer:
✨ It isn't about the numbers, it's about the impact - Every time I showed up, I changed what "engineer" looked like. Every project I led, every problem I solved, every barrier I broke made space for the next woman.
🌟 To every woman in a male-dominated field: Your presence matters. Your voice changes rooms. Your success opens doors.
⭐ To organizations everywhere: Having one woman on your team isn't progress; it's a starting point. Real inclusion means creating environments where we don't just survive, we thrive.
Today, on International Day of Women and Girls in Science, I'm thinking about that young woman in the hard hat and how far we've come. And how far we still have to go.
