Just wanted to hop on to say be kind to all, be kind to moms. And for starters, we as moms especially need to be kind to other moms. We need to support and help one another.

I recently had lunch with 2 other moms and one mom shared a story of someone helping and how thankful and special the moment was to her. She said she was at a gas station and her toddler was crying in the backseat. She was trying to console him while trying to pump gas and another lady came over to pump her gas while she consoled her son. And just that little bit of help and act of kindness did SO much for her! In that moment she felt seen, understood and supported which was something she rarely gets from the community.

So the next time you see a mom with her hands full, see if there’s something you can do to help. And by doing this, hopefully we can foster a community of kindness💕💕💕

Honestly, I’ve been thinking all day of an act of random kindness lately and honestly can’t think of one😫😩😪. But I certainly have been giving some lately as I’ve made it a point to be more aware and help! Whether it’s offering an extra snack or juice I may have, offering a hand, inviting a friend over for a play date for some adult conversation and lunch or dinner while the kids play or just a good ‘ol GNO! It honestly is all about the little things.

We just wanted to hop on tonight before escaped us to say, expectant moms don’t forget yourself when making your baby registry list!

Far too often all everyone thinks about is the baby when making baby registries. And although moms aren’t purposely omitted from baby registries, it just happens because we’re so excited about the baby that ALL of our attention goes to the baby. But in order for the baby to be properly cared for, mommy needs to care for herself as well…especially after carrying a baby 9 months and birthing the baby. Mommies go through physical, emotional, mental AND social changes.

So a few ideas:

-Name your registry “mommy and baby registry” or “mommy and me registry” and include things for you whether it’s a book, massage, spa, salon, etc.

- On your registry add things like: 1 day or 1 weekend of babysitting, 1 day of housework help, 1 prepared meal, etc. for assistance from friends and family. And don’t forget to redeem them!!

It’s such an exciting time when you become pregnant and prepare for your precious baby! Just remember to include yourself as well💕💕💕
