We’re going old-school with a to our outing at the Connetquot River State Park Preserve this past fall. Organized by our beloved , this trip was truly one for the books. Every single angler in our group of 15 caught fish, with some of our ladies catching their first fish on the fly, and others upwards of 25 trout! We are so lucky to have this picturesque river and world class hatchery close to home. Outings such as this one provide the opportunity to practice landing and netting trout, and leave anglers with a newfound confidence in the stream. We hope you join us on our next outing! ⁣

Catchin’ bass and takin’ names!⁣

You know what high temps mean- giving our beloved trout a break! Which is exactly what we did on the Delaware recently. We took on the Big D with canoes and kayaks, and stripped in some poppers. I think it’s safe to say we’ve found a new favorite activity for the dog days of summer! ⁣

Our member Ann scored her personal best trout from right outside our base camp . Caught on a size 16 chironomid, this 22” female rainbow gave Ann the fight of her life, going airborne multiple times. AMAZING job Ann!!! ⁣
