We remember. We honor. We continue to support.

September 11th reminds us that courage came in many forms—Firefighters, Law Enforcement, EMS, Search and Rescue Teams, and the Working K9s who stood beside them.

We remember dogs like Kali, a Rottweiler who had just graduated from search-and-rescue training when she and her partner, John Peine, were deployed to assist in the recovery efforts at Ground Zero.

Today, working K9 teams continue to answer the call through countless deployments.

Remembering their service also means supporting those still serving. That’s why RawDog K9 is proud to raise funds for the Spikes K9 Fund and their work supporting working K9s and their handlers.

People ask us why we do this. Why put in the time, the effort, and the work outside of an already busy life?

The answer is simple.

We’re given the gift of these animals for only a small part of our lives, but what we sometimes forget is that we are their entire life.

From the moment they come home with us until our last goodbye, they’re there. Through the good days, the hard days, the changes, and everything in between. They become more than dogs. They become companions that leave a mark on our hearts long after they’re gone.

And those companions deserve our best.

Dogs don’t care about status, money, or what you can do for them. They understand loyalty, honesty, love, and pure intentions. They give us everything they have and ask for very little in return.

RawDog K9 started by taking the love we have for our own dogs and finding a way to share it with as many people as we can.

Because if our dogs are willing to give us their best every single day, the least we can do is give them ours.

That’s why we do this.

RawDog K9 is proud to join Carnival for Canines, raising funds for Spike’s K9 Fund to help provide protective gear, medical care, rehabilitation, and support for retired K9s.

We spend a lot of time asking working dogs to show up for us. On September 26th, it’s our turn to show up for them.

RawDog K9 is proud to be joining the 5th Annual Carnival for Canines at Hudson’s Mill, an event bringing together dog lovers, working K9 supporters, local businesses, and the community for a great day with an even greater purpose.

The event helps raise critical funds in support of Spike’s K9 Fund, helping provide protective equipment, medical care, rehabilitation, and support for the working K9s who serve alongside our police, military, and emergency personnel.

Come hang out with us, meet some incredible dogs, grab some RawDog K9 goodies, enjoy great food and music, check out the vendors and auction, and most importantly, help us give something back to the dogs who give us everything.
