This Venice bookshop - Acqua Alta [High Water in English] - was hard hit by high tides last week, despite displaying books in gondolas, tubs & other floating containers.

Venice's Acqua Alta Bookshop, considered among the most beautiful bookstores in the world, has lost hundreds of books to the floods that have devastated the north Italian lagoon city.
