On Requests. What is being requested now with the SOURCEWHERE network—the pieces moving fastest, the items proving hardest to secure, and where demand is building globally. A Sourcewhere read on what is being sought, as it happens.

This week, Chanel’s Métiers d’Art crocodile-embossed ballet flats and apple heels continue to dominate requests, with boutiques across Europe, Asia and the Middle East largely sold through. Khaite’s sold-out sunglasses are following a similar path, becoming one of the season’s most difficult accessories to source.

Alongside current-season demand, collectors remain focused on vintage collectibles. The Elsa Peretti Card Holder has quietly become one of the most frequently requested archive accessories, while Chanel’s 2011 Ladybug Flap Bag is seeing renewed demand as fewer examples come to market.
