What do I even say?
The last 12 years have been better than I ever could have imagined. Opening The Brass Owl was my dream, and the fact that we made it this long in NYC feels like such an accomplishment.
Thank you to this community for showing up and supporting us through everything. We’ve seen a lot of ups and downs over the years, and you stood by us through it all.
Thank you to every member of my team, past and present. I truly don’t know what I did to deserve such incredible people who worked so hard to help bring my vision to life. TBO would be nothing without all of you making it the safe, welcoming space that it became.
Thank you to my friends and family for supporting me emotionally and financially through this journey. The life of a small business owner is a rollercoaster and having you all as my support system means everything to me.
And lastly, and most importantly, thank you to Briana and Kayleigh, my managers for the last 8 and 7 years respectively. I literally could not have done this without you. You believed in what I was building and stayed by my side every step of the way, all the way to the very end. My gratitude for you both is bigger than words.
To everyone who commented, messaged, or emailed - I’ve read every single one. Hearing how much TBO meant to you is what I’ll carry with me forever.
