The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life.
It is more important that the past, than education, than money,
than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people
think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill.
The remarkable thing is - we have a choice every day of our lives regarding
the attitude we embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot
change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change
the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have,
and that is our attitude. I’m convinced that life is 10% what happens
to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you.
We are in charge of our attitudes.

Family and Friends
We all have a garden we together must tend,
The flowers of which are our family and friends.

Our Family
A family means so many things, on that we can agree,
words can never fully tell all that it means to me.
It means we have a love begun by our father and our mother,
they showed us by example, how we should care for one another.
It means we’re proud we’re family, and the feeling’s very strong,
as a member of this family, we know that we belong.
It means we’ll always have a home, a place for us to share,
happy times, the sorrows too, our hopes and dreams live there.
It means we share a bond of faith, that passing time can’t sever,
a gift to last beyond this life, for our family is forever.
